Blessed Rainy Day is the holiday marking the end of the monsoon season in Bhutan. On this day all natural water resources in the country are considered to be sanctifying and citizens are encouraged to take an outdoor bath to be cleansed of “bad deeds, obstructions and defilements” and accumulated bad karma. Families traditionally gather for a meal of thup (porridge) at breakfast time. The holiday also marks the end of the farming season and the beginning of the harvest season.

JOURNEY TOWARDS THE RELIGIOUS TO THE LIFESTYLE
My Journey started from the religious place where all the monks praying as of their heart while i was nervously staring at them, As a guy like me it was hard for me to study in our own language, I always used to get poor marks in Dzongkha which is our national language in BHUTAN , Its not about speaking, its all about writing…i couldn’t hear the words they were praying but some words were related to our language which i could be aware of but they were in the haste while praying so i couldn’t catch up them
The energy which they show while praying is the most cherish moment. waking up early from the morning and praying till breakfast and than till lunch and after lunch the evening praying starts. For us it will be the nerve racking day if it was like them but for them its a everyday work so they are happy with it. Its just that you have to do it every day what ever you are doing than only you will be accomplishing, Like to them it was hard at the beginning but after doing it everyday it became their life.
While taking with some monks(Lama) about their life as a monk(lama), they were happy being a religious person as one thing they can full fill dharma and other thing they can stand on their own as they don’t have to depend on others rather they help their parents and family on the stability of their living standard.
So this was my journey towards religious place DHARAMSHALA a city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile.
well this is me towards high mountain enjoying the cool breeze. i was happy to meet with all the religious people, and knowing more about their religion.
